What the session is about

The ATO’s GST assurance reviews are placing significant systems and process demands on tax functions so that data integrity can be demonstrated in assurance reviews. The varying quality of upstream information systems and volume of data means it's hard for tax functions to undertake the necessary checks and balances within lodgement timeframes.

Join this session to see some of the Alteryx patterns we use to help our clients accelerate and get on top of GST reporting and governance. This session will cover:

  • The data extraction, load and transform (ELT) techniques.
  • Approach to standardising master data, rules and exceptions.
  • Data segmentation techniques and advantages.
  • Creating contemporaneous support.
  • Reporting and analytics.
